Pedestrian Verse is the fourth album and major label debut from the fast-rising Scottish indie rock group Frightened Rabbit. The songs here are very accessible with interesting lyrics, one of my favorites being You act so holy/Me, Im just full of holes They could potentially see some mainstream success this year with songs such as The Woodpile, Backyard Skulls and the aforementioned Holy.

Easy Americana. Extremely accessible rock with British vocals swingy like a pendulum. Like The Avett Brothers covering Squeeze. Jingly, jangly, and pleasant, constantly toeing the line between authentically folk and indulgently pop.
RIYL: Mumford & Son, Bowerbirds, Good Old War

A collection of fugues Baroque to contemporary, showing the polyphonic structures as revealed in the saxophone. Play most! Interesting since the sax was not invented at the time the works were composed, yet are beautifully exposed.

More improvisations using specialized guitars and percussion from Kastning, Szabo and Major. Eastern/jazz elements. Interesting!

Somewhat mininalist pianist/composer Harrison here works with cellist Maya Beiser and mixes cello overlays, piano, chorus/voice with Eastern elements. Mostly quiet, ethereal. Play most!
