“I have been involved in radio since I was a freshman at Colby-Sawyer College in New London, NH. I had a show on WSCS each semester I was there and became a music director and eventually the station manager. I moved to Burlington in 2009 after I graduated. I started at WRUV in the summer of 2011 with Flight of the Squawkatiel, which featured an hour of my favorite new music plus an hour of music from my collection with a different theme each week. This show ran until January 2016.

Squawkin’ Good Radio is a new show that goes with the launch of my new music blog Squawkin’ Good Tunes. This show will be a mix of selections from my current favorite albums, my favorite new discoveries, and some older songs from my collection and listener requests. I plan on featuring a lot of unsigned independent artists on my show as well as my favorite bands.

The name McSquawk comes from one of the nicknames I made up for my friend’s pet cockatiel Buddy. I do not own any birds but I have two cats, Piper and Elwood, and a dog named Odie.”
